Biography

Nació en el seno de una familia acomodada: su padre era médico traumatólogo. Estudió el bachillerato en el instituto nacional de segunda enseñanza de Oviedo, desde 1916 a 1925 y cursó el preparatorio de Medicina en la Facultad de Ciencias de la Universidad de Oviedo entre 1925 y 1926.

Francisco Grande se instaló en Madrid en 1927, disfrutó de la Residencia de Estudiantes, la famosa “colina de los chopos” que tanto mejoraría la educación y la cultura en nuestro país. Convivió y entabló amistad con García Lorca, Buñuel, Ochoa, Dalí y tantos otros que formaron aquel grupo cultural. [...]
